I played college football for three years as an all-conference receiver. I’ve played multiple sports in high school, and have always been passionate about sports and fitness. This has driven me to gravitate toward coaching other athletes from youths to adults. I enjoy seeing others push themselves and go further than they think is physically possible. I found CrossFit in college and used the training to help me better myself in football; however, months in, I fell in love with the sport of fitness. In other sports, there’s a lot of separation (by age, gender, weight) and one of the great things about CrossFit is that it is unbiased. Every athlete, no matter his or her background or athletic ability does the same workout at different variables. I’m looking forward to continuing my fitness journey and helping people change their lives.

I started crossfit a little over three years ago as a way to lose weight. I was an athlete my entire life and after college sports ended I wasn’t sure how to fill the void. I was at my heaviest weight 265 pounds. I tried Frontline one day and became hooked on it. I went from 265 pounds to 185 pounds in about a year. I became stronger, faster and healthier than I had ever been in my life. Now that I’m on my way to my career, it has rolled over and helped with that tremendously. Especially when it come to the Physical fitness tests.

I started Crossfit 5 and a half years ago and didn’t look back! I’ve tried multiple forms exercise, from being a half marathon runner, P90x, TRX and everything under the sun. Still nothing could help me build the body I wanted or meet the challenge I needed. Learning Crossfit has taught me how important function fitness is to everyday life. I feel more energetic, flexible, and stronger than ever. Having a fair understanding of Nutrition and Crossfit has a allowed me to be able to lose or maintain my weight and continually become better and better.
Besides practicing weightlifting movements or fighting through tough WODs at Frontline, I enjoy coaching the most. Seeing the faces of people giving their all, day in and day out, is more gratifying than you can imagine.

I started CrossFit in 2012 when I was looking for the best way to get fit and break out of the rut I was in after years of school and working in corporate America. I was doing primarily bodybuilding-style exercise and spent the better part of each day riding a desk. I had been plagued with nagging back pain since 2009 and I needed a cure. I had always been an athlete, but for about 5 years or so I had let sports and fitness take a backseat in my life. I finally decided to try CrossFit and before too long I was getting leaner, stronger and fitter than I had ever been before. And I became pain free for the first time in years. I will never forget how dead and out of shape I felt after my first WOD. I loved that feeling and I was hooked. I still love how CrossFit can put me on the floor after any given workout.
CrossFit provides the base of my training, and I am an avid road and trail runner as well as an Obstacle Course Racer (think, Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, Savage Race etc.). I started my CrossFit journey with a primary focus on what was then called “CrossFit Endurance.” I have always been a better teacher and coach then I am an athlete, and I love helping others reach their goals. I have worked as a personal trainer, nutrition coach and running coach. I have both run and trained athletes in every distance from 5k to Marathon. I also love to combine my passion for cooking with sports and nutrition to help people lose weight eating food they love. After having a baby and a relapse of my back issues late in 2015, I had to engineer my own transformation to lose 56 pounds over the early part of 2016. I believe CrossFit can help anyone of any age, gender, size or current fitness level be in the best shape of their life and I love coaching and working with people to get there or wherever it is they can see themselves going.
